FCC Seeks Comments on The Commpliance Group’s Petition on Systems Integrator Exemption

The Wireline Competition Bureau issued a Public Notice on March 24, 2015, seeking comments on The Commpliance Group’s Petition for Declaratory Ruling that the Systems Integrator Exemption from the USF contribution obligation applies to the resale or provision of interconnected VoIP when resold or provisioned by a systems integrator. The Commpliance Group asserted the SI Exemption should apply to I-VoIP services because the provisioning of a communications service to a customer is the same whether the systems integrator offers I-VoIP or traditional telephone service. Comments are due April 24; replies due May 11.

If you are interested in filing Comments on the Petition, please contact Seth L. Williams at slw@commlawgroup.com or 703-714-1326 or Jonathan S. Marashlian at jsm@commlawgroup.com or 703-714-1313.
