FCC Form 499–A (2008 Revenue Report) Due April 1, 2009

As a Registered ITSP and holder of a 499 Filer ID, your company is required to file, no later than April 1st each year, FCC Form 499-A (Telecommunications Reporting Worksheet).  In the Form 499-A due on April 1, 2009, you must report revenue derived from all sources, including regulated telecommunications services, and non-regulated products and services, during calendar year 2008.  Importantly, all telecommunications carriers and providers (including private carriers) that have been assigned a 499 Filer ID must prepare and file FCC Form 499-A on an annual basis.  Even if your company did not conduct business during 2008, if you currently hold a 499 Filer ID, USAC expects you to file a Form 499-A on April 1st.

The Form 499-A filing requirement extends to wireline and wireless telecommunications providers (local, interstate, and international service providers), interconnected VoIP providers, prepaid calling card companies, and resellers of any of the aforementioned services.  Other services subject to Form 499 reporting requirements  include data services, certain broadband services, and teleconferencing services.  In addition, although
