The FCC has announced that the Universal Service Fund Contribution Factor (“USF Contribution Factor”) applicable during the Third Quarter of 2008 (“Q3 2008”) will be .114 or 11.4%. The Q3 2008 USF Contribution Factor represents a 0.1% increase from the 11.3% USF Contribution Factor applicable to the current quarter. The new rate becomes effective July 1, 2008, and remains in effect until September 30, 2008.
